New Canada Passport Ranking 2026 – Full List of Visa Free Countries

Canada has now climbed to 7th place in the latest Henley Passport Index with a mobility score of 182 destinations.

This marks a notable improvement from the 8th place ranking in January 2026 and puts Canada 3 positions ahead of the United States

The Canadian passport now provides access to 182 countries and territories through visa-free entry, visa-on-arrival, and electronic travel authorization arrangements.

The United States sits at 10th place with only 179 destinations.

This means Canadian passport holders can travel to three more countries without advance visa arrangements compared to their American neighbours.

For Canadians who frequently cross the border or travel internationally, this ranking confirms that holding a valid Canadian passport remains one of the best travel documents in the world.
